AC Services Made For Roswell, GA Residents
A lot of homes in Roswell, GA were built long before ductwork existed, and preservation rules limit what you can update. We offer ductless mini-splits as a cool alternative to sitting in a Roswell home with no AC unit. You’ve also got neighborhoods like Martin’s Landing that feature subdivisions built in the 1980s and 1990s with outdated ductwork and have had units replaced a few times. We’re used to these situations and have a list of options for you, no matter where in Roswell you live. The key to success is proper sizing that helps reduce humidity within the home. It goes a long way, and it’s something other companies tend to overlook by selling you the biggest unit possible.
AC Repair and Maintenance in Roswell
A lot of the calls we get for AC service fall into one of two categories: a problem already happened or there’s one you can still prevent. Here’s how we help with both…
Reliable AC Repair Services
If you notice things like odd noises or musty smells, it’s best to call for help right away. We offer AC repair services with fast response times and 24/7 availability. Other situations include frozen coils and rising humidity inside the home. These problems rarely, if ever, get better over time, and the sooner you call us, the better.
Preventive AC Maintenance
A spring tune-up is one of the most effective ways to avoid unwanted emergencies later in the summer. Our AC maintenance helps you prepare for the hottest days of the year with coil cleanings, refrigerant checks and more. If anything comes up that needs your attention, you’ll have one of us there to fix it on the spot.
AC Replacement and Installation in Roswell
In some cases, a new AC unit makes more sense than repeatedly fixing an aging system. And if you’re building a home or adding on to one, we help with that too.
Air Conditioner Replacement
Many homes in Roswell’s subdivisions have units that are 10 years or older, and some that have never been replaced since being built. If your unit is past the 10-15 year mark and keeps breaking down or uses outdated components like R-22 refrigerant, then AC replacement is a good consideration to save you money on bills and repairs over time. We also offer flexible financing options since most people don’t plan for a new unit.
New AC Installation
New AC installation services cover additions, finishing basements and older homes that have never had it before. We do proper sizing and a Manual J load calculation to make sure it’s the best fit for the home, as bigger isn’t always better when it comes to air conditioning.
Comfort Upgrades for Roswell Homes
Our services that go beyond AC repair, maintenance and installation for optimal performance and comfort include:
Ductless Mini-Splits
Mini-splits add cooling capabilities to rooms while having minimal visual impact. They’re also ideal if you want to avoid any ductwork installation or modification. It’s great if you’re living in a historic home that has rules on preservation or adding to the house like a bonus room or converting the garage to a living space.
HVAC Zoning
If you have one floor of the house that runs hotter than the rest, our HVAC zoning is a solution. Zoning helps you control the temperature of the home from room to room, so if you only need one room cold, you have that option. It’s great for folks living in multi-story or larger homes experiencing inconsistent room temperatures.
Thermostat Services
Looking to upgrade to a smart thermostat system? We can help you connect and modernize your AC system with our thermostat services. This connects with our zoning capabilities since you’ll need to be able to control each room, plus you can schedule cooling and heating as needed right from your phone.
The Bartlett Difference
Bartlett Heating and Cooling has been operating since 1989 as a family-owned business now in our second generation. We’ve stayed around this long because of our customer-first approach with upfront pricing and free estimates on new systems. Unlike other places we also offer flexible financing options and all of our work is backed by a competitive guarantee. That’s how confident we are that you’ll be happy with the work we do, and our job isn’t finished until you are.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does an AC system typically last in Roswell’s climate?
Most AC units last 10-15 years but the longer summers and humidity can shorten the lifespan of an AC unit in Roswell. We recommend yearly tune-ups to help stay on top of problems and boost the overall performance and longevity of your system.
Why is my upstairs so much hotter than my downstairs?
This can indicate a problem with your ductwork or a repair needed on the unit. Give us a call and we’ll get to the root cause for you.
Can you install AC in a home in the Roswell Historic District?
It depends on whether the home has existing ductwork, and many homes in this area don’t. We offer ductless mini-split installations to help you stay cool in specific rooms of your home.
What size AC unit does my Roswell home need?
Proper sizing requires one of us to go out there and run a Manual J load calculation, but note that estimates on installations are always free.
What should I do if my AC stops working at night or on a weekend?
